Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully, as they outline our policies, commitments, and expectations for all tutoring services delivered online or in-centre.

Bookings & Payments: Sessions are booked in 6-week blocks and paid in advance. If, after the first session, either party feels the arrangement is unsuitable, a refund for unused lessons may be requested. Repayments are made within 28 days of funds clearing.

Cancellations: If a tutor needs to cancel, an alternative date/time will be arranged. Clients may cancel one lesson per block with at least 48 hours’ notice and receive a credit in the next block. All other cancellations are charged in full. To stop tuition, written notice is required by the end of the second lesson in the block.

Exceptional Circumstances: Where a family experiences bereavement, emergency hospital admission, serious incident at home, traffic issues, or (for online lessons) significant internet loss, we will respond with empathy and flexibility.

Attendance: Lessons are teaching time and start/finish on schedule. Students must arrive punctually; late arrivals cannot be extended. Parents wishing to discuss progress are warmly invited to join the final ten minutes of a lesson.

Safety & Compliance: All tutors are fully insured, hold current DBS checks, and are trained in safeguarding, risk assessment, and health & safety.
